Anna King

Anna King currently resides in South Carolina. Her mixed media drawings explore how individuals view topics including race, discrimination, and politics. King has exhibited locally, with exhibitions at the Public Works Center, Charleston County School District, and the South Carolina State Fair. In 2019, the Converse University Concept Magazine showed two of her drawings. In 2021, King collaborated with the City of Spartanburg to renovate a large tree sculpture. The sculpture of the peach tree is currently on display on the Mary Black Rail Trail King in Spartanburg, SC. King is a recipient of the Visual Arts Scholarship at Converse University. King spent the summer of 2021 teaching art at the Public Works Center in Summerville, South Carolina. Currently, King is earning her Bachelor of Art in Art Education at Converse University with a minor in Art History.
